Fantastic team

Lovely staff transparent and friendly team who always are willing to help. I’ve only ever had one other GP practice and Northgate is very professional

Excellent service

Had previously made appointment by telephone to have stitches removed, the person I spoke to was very kind and helpful Arrived at the surgery, spoke to receptionist via intercom to say who I was and what I was here for, very pleasant and helpful. The nurse called my name, temperature was checked and I sanitized my hands. Stitches removed, very efficient and very methodical. Many thanks for the kind help and consideration given to me at what is a very difficult time Brilliant NHS, thankyou

Terrible appointment system but good doctors

Trying to get an appointment is a horrendous experience. You either have to telephone at exactly 8am on the day or use the online system, both of which are extremely stressful. I went online, chose a doctor, wrote in my reason and by the time I'd done that, the slot had gone. I ended up with a time that was inconvenient and with a doctor I didn't know. However, the doctor was wonderful. He listened, explained without patronising and discussed the options available to me in full. I left feeling that after more than a year of trying to get help, someone had a plan. I just hope I can get through the system to be able to get him next time.

Great receptionists

Visited for an appointment and while waiting I saw the receptionists at work at this busy time. The two ladies handled all complaints so well, when many of the complaints were really no ones fault. Excellent patience from staff. Doctor was great when I eventually got seen!
