Sea Cadets Canterbury Vaccination Centre 

The  Autumn/Winter Flu & COVID Phase commencing 3rd October 2024

  • Commences at the Sea Cadets on Thursday 3rd October for 8 weeks.  Open  every weekday 8.30am to 5pm [and one Saturday 5 October 8.30am to 2pm] for COVID and/or Flu.
  • Appointments currently available for the first 10 days for patients to self book or call the practice to book an appointment - appointments through NHS app/MyGP/other online platforms are called "fFlu and or Covid at SEA CADETS CT1 1ZN "
  • From 23rd September appointments will be available for patients to book directly at the Sea Cadets, on the National Booking system for all FLU and COVID clinics at the Sea Cadets 
  • Walk-in patients for flu and COVID will be accepted at the Sea Cadets - note that the first two weeks are exceptionally busy so an appointment is preferred
  • Cohorts:
    • Those aged 65 years and over
    • those aged 18 years to under 65 in clinical risks groups as defined by the Green Book 
    • those in long-stay residential care homes and housebound
    • Carers in receipt of carers allowance or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
    • Close contacts of immunosuppressed individuals
    • Frontline workers in a social care setting including care homes
