Job Description
We are looking for a Part-Time Receptionist/administrator with a friendly, helpful and approachable manner for our busy city GP practice. You will join an established reception team who, whilst busy, are all very friendly, helpful and committed to offering the best service possible to our patients and colleagues. Your role will be to book appointments, answer queries and help patients access a range of healthcare offered by the practice. You will need excellent customer service skills and be able to work well as part of the team and on your own. Training is provided but previous receptionist experience in a health care setting and a genuine interest in working in a GP practice is desirable. Knowledge of Emis Web and Docman is desirable. Flexibility and a can do attitude are essential. Staff are well supported and work together as a practice team to offer the best health care possible to the local practice population.
HOURS - Monday 8 am to 1 pm Wednesday 8 am to 1 pm Thursday 8 am - 1 pm & Friday 8 am - 4.30 pm
Overview of the Practice
We are a large practice with approximately 20,000 patients. The practice has over 75 staff including GPs, Executive Management Team, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Administrators and Receptionists.
We are a training practice and encourage staff to strive towards continued professional development.
