Job Description
Main Duties of the Job
You will be working as a receptionist answering the telephones and helping patients at the front desk. You will also be undertaking administrative tasks related to patient care. You will need excellent customer service skills and be able to work well as part of the team and on your own. Training is provided but previous receptionist experience in a health care setting and a genuine interest in working in a GP practice is desirable. Knowledge of Emis Web and Docman is desirable. Flexibility and a can do attitude are essential
The practice has over 75 staff including GPs, Executive Management Team, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Administrators and Receptionists. Staff are well supported and work together as a practice team to offer the best health care possible to the local practice population.
Hours: Shifts Monday to Friday between 08.00 to 20.00 plus 1 Saturday every 11 weeks.
Overview of your Organisation
We are a large practice with approximately 20,000 patients. The team consists of: 5 Partners, 8 Salaried GPs,1 ST3 Registrars, 3 advanced nurse practitioners, 5 practice nurses, 3 HCA's, 6 Medical Secretaries, Admin team & Reception team.
We are a training practice and encourage staff to strive towards continued professional development.
