DROP IN CLINIC

We have a Drop-In Clinic that operates Monday-Friday 8.30-10.00am. For Northgate registered patients only .One appointment with one problem only. Patients are guaranteed that they are seen, there will not be a specific appointment time, however, you may have to wait for a considerable amount of time.

If you wish to see a specific doctor, have on-going complex problems or require a referral please make an appointment in the usual way.

Out of Hours
When the surgery is closed, you should contact South East Health on 03000 242424 (local rate).

Training Days
The Surgery will close at 1.00pm on these days for GP and staff training.

We encourage patients to make appointments with their usual GP, but recognise that this will not always be possible, for a variety of reasons. GROUND RULES FOR TREATING DRUG OR ALCOHOL MISUSERS

All persons with the above difficulties will be expected to agree with a treatment programme orally, or by signing a consent form. The doctor that you see will expect you to participate in any reasonable, physical or medical investigation as part of your full assessment.

Withdrawal from heroin or related drugs is dealt with by Kent Council on Addictions (KCA) and you will be referred there for relevant treatment. Withdrawal from alcohol is dealt with by Mount Zeehan, or other specialist alcohol services and you will be referred there initially.

A copy of our consent form, including practice ground rules and standards of behaviour acceptable within the practice is available on request.
